As their motto suggests, the Biggeorge Foundation provided our organization with a real
chance at renewal. They offered tangible support for our professional development and
service improvement. Covering operational costs has been a significant challenge for our
organization, leaving us in recent years with only small resources for developmental
investments.
The goal of the Egyensúlyunkért Foundation is mental health preservation and reducing
the stigma surrounding people living with mental disorders. The board of trustees of the
Biggeorge Foundation visited us, got acquainted with our institution's activities, and
gained insight into the daily operations of our psychiatric patient daycare center, also
known as the Club. In our benefactors, we see dedicated, empathetic, and open-minded
individuals who prioritize mental health preservation and support for equal
opportunities.
The support provided by the Biggeorge Foundation will be invested in purchasing
a new service vehicle that will enable us to expand our already existing service
portfolio by further facilitating donations, enabling us to get to
external locations for sessions, providing our staff with opportunities for more active,
regular, and easily feasible fieldwork at clients' residences, as well as helping us
participate in professional conferences.
