Thanks to the support, we can continuously organize our literary and cultural
programs (readings, book launch events, unconventional literature classes,
workshops, professional conferences, festivals) nationwide, as well as
abroad.
For over twenty-five years, the Szépírók Társasága has been one of the most important
players, organizers, and professional lobby groups in the Hungarian literature scene.
Anyone who has attended events in this space in recent decades has most likely visited
one of the events organized by the Szépírók Társasága – since last year, the Biggeorge
Foundation has also been part of this tradition. No cultural organization can forget
that besides addressing the social challenges of our times, one of our most important
tasks is to provide quality leisure activities for the widest possible audience. For
many, literature and written culture is a quality pastime that can be continuously
present in one's life in either online or offline forms beyond events, public programs,
and travels, conveniently accessible at any moment of daily life.
